Brief:
Richmond, VA natives LAMB OF GOD originally formed in 1994 as Burn The Priest. In 1998, the band changed their moniker to LAMB OF GOD, which would mark their impending ascension to top-tier status, as well as one of the only tangible career deviations that the band would ever undertake – having consistently released chart-topper after chart-topper while maintaining a true and constant line-up of members and increasingly growing fanbase.
The follow-up to 2015’s “VII: Sturm Und Drang” marks LAMB OF GOD’s first recordings with Art Cruz, who joined the band last year as the replacement for the group’s founding drummer, Chris Adler. “Lamb Of God” was recorded with longtime producer Josh Wilbur (KORN, MEGADETH, GOJIRA, TRIVIUM) and includes special guest appearances by Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Chuck Billy (TESTAMENT).

With respect to all of his previous output, for me this album is a pinnacle in Lamb Of God’s discography. I welcome them to out-do themselves over and over again.
